Dahi Bhindi - High Protein
🥣 Bhindi Yogurt Masala Recipe
📝 Ingredients
- 250g Bhindi (Okra), cubed 🥬
- 2 tbsp coconut oil 🥥
- 1 tsp turmeric powder 🌿
- 1/2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder 🌶️
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder 🌿
- 3/4 tsp salt 🧂
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 🌱
- 1/2 onion, chopped 🧅
- 1/2 tsp chopped ginger garlic 🧄
- 3 tbsp curd (yogurt) 🥛
- 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves 🌿
👨 Method
- Fry Bhindi with 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and 1/4 tsp salt in 1 tbsp oil for 5 minutes.
- Remove and set aside.
- Add 1 tbsp oil to the pan and sauté chopped onion with cumin seeds and 1/2 tsp chopped ginger garlic for 1 minute. 🧅🧄
- Mix 3 tbsp curd with 1/2 tsp each of Kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and 1/2 tsp salt. 🥣
- Add the yogurt mix to the pan and cook for 2 minutes, adding 1/4 cup water 💧.
- Add the cooked Bhindi back in and cook until semi-dry.
- Add 1/2 scoop of EBS Unflavoured Protein Powder 💪 and stir well. Remove from heat.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot! 🌿
